Spring Pickup
2024 ANNUAL SPRING CLEAN-UP Starts May 12th, 2025
Clean-up will be done the same as last year, so please read carefully!
The pile size limit is 4 ft wide x 8 ft long x 2 ft high, items with stickers are not included in the pile size limit.
Yards with more than this will be assessed by the City crew to determine what will be picked up.
Where to place items that you want picked up: on the boulevard or in the alley - not inside a building, items must be seen by the City crew. This can be done starting April 28th through May 12th at 8:00am. Thanks for your cooperation in keeping our city clean!
Monday by 8:00am: all items MUST be at the curb by 8:00am Monday, May 12th to be picked up. The crew will go through town once, putting more out after they have been there will result in those items not getting picked up.
Metals/Appliances: Please put metals in a separate pile.
Landfill Trash: non-recyclables should be set out on a separate pile - couches, carpet (must be rolled & tied), furniture, garden hoses, etc.
NO Hazardous Material: toxic materials or liquids of any kind - paint, paint thinner, stain, batteries, oil, grease, insecticides, pesticides, tires, fluorescent bulbs, ballast, garbage, plaster, concrete, shingles, or dirt will not be picked up!!!
NO leaves or grass clippings will be collected. Those items can be brought out to the burn site located at 31367 840th Street (Key Required).
Tree Branches will be picked up but must be on a separate pile.
Demolition materials: in SMALL amounts only & should be kept in a separate pile - wood, painted wood, treated wood, etc. as these items are not allowed at the burn site. If you are doing a large remodel project, please rent a dumpster!
NO loose piles of small items, Bag or box them please
NO Garbage/Recycling that can go in your normal garbage/recycling will be picked up.
NO ITEMS are to be hauled in from outside the city. If we find out this happened, your pile will not be picked up.

APPLIANCE PICK-UP: - Each appliance MUST have a sticker on it. You can purchase stickers at City Hall any time before 5:00 pm on, Friday, May 9th. Any sticker purchased after 5:00 pm on Friday, May 9th, will include a $2.00 late fee.

COST - $20.00 PER STICKER: Any Size
Mattress - Boxspring
COST - $10.00 PER STICKER: Small electronic items
Computer Towers – Small Printers/Copiers – Stereos – Vacuum - Carpet Cleaner
ONLY appliances that have a sticker will be picked up.
SO, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR STICKERS ON THEM!
